The women were very rude. I took my phone out of my pocket so i could bend down to fix my child's outfit and they yelled at me that i need to put my phone away and i was not allowed to take pictures. Obviously that's what I'm paying you for so why would i take my own? My child wasn't smiling and they told me it was probably because he didn't like what he was wearing. I took my 2 month old to the king of prussia location and it was horrible. Poor customer service, the pictures was horrible, i had a appointment and still waited over 30 minutes. And to top it all off they sent my baby pictures to the wrong email address along with ally comfirmations. I won't ever take him there again.

I do not recommend this place , i spent alot of money on my pictures, A high definition picture was include with my package, so I'm able to get that blown up as a poster with the permission of the company , I waited over an hour just for the employee to tell me he wasn't going to fill out the rights slip that fedex provided me in order to get my photo blown up. We were not at all impressed with the JCPenney portrait studio, and we will not be going back. The photographer was late for our appointment because she was on her lunch break. We were getting pictures of our daughter, and I had to orchestrate the entire shoot because the woman was not good with children. Appointment was for 3:30. I arrived at 3:32 and because I was so late they put me on standby. The associate couldn't tell me how long the wait would be or if there were any appointments after me. She was extremely unhelpful and didn't realize how dumb she sounded telling us that we couldn't have our appointment due to the 2 minutes. Just had Senior pictures done here at the Moreno Valley Mall, the pictures were very dark and the photographer only used one prop. She didn't any effort into the session. It's so upsetting that I paid for these photographs, I should have just left them but I had to send out my announcements before Graduation and had no choice. Do yourself the favor and spend the extra money and get a professional photographer to do special occasion photos... Read more

Pickup was horrible!!! They dont give you an option to have the in studio pictures shipped. So they make you come in the store (so they can upsell you) and wait 45 to just pick up pictures. Guess what, your upsell isnt going to work if you have customers in a bad mood, by this point, they just want to get out of here as fast as you can. Absolutly Horrible!!!!!!

Went to have my babies picture taken with siblings at the JCPenny studio @The District in South Jordan, Utah. My baby is usually happy and does well, but the girl taking the pictures kept propping him in uncomfortable positions and than kept asking me why I thought the baby wasn't happy and kept crying. Our pictures were taken at the Salem NH studio by Kacey, who was wonderful! We were promised our canvas on 5/5. I went to pick it up on 5/6 and learned it was never ordered. I spoke with Jim, the manager who seemed great at first. Jim promised me the canvas (a Mothers Day gift) would be delivered to my mother by 5/10. Jim handed me a stack of "free sitting" coupons! We had a photo shoot at Picture People back in February for 1st birthday so we had some idea and expectations for JcPenny based on incredible experience at Picture People. We did a photo shoot at JcPenny on April 29th at Milford, CT JcPenny studio and couldn't be more upset.
