Where do I start....

We arrived at 4:10PM for a 4:10PM appt at Penney's in Eastridge Mall in San Jose and ended up waiting in line for a few mins. When we got to the register, they said there were 4 families ahead of us. My wife asked if they were running behind and they said 'yes, but you weren't on time for your appt'... at 4:14PM!

Any idea how late they were actually running? We were finally called in for our sitting at 6PM! 1 hour and 50 mins after our scheduled time. Try entertaining a 3 and 6 year old in a waiting room for almost 2 hours!

To top it off, the $29.99 3 digital image/1 print groupon is pretty much pointless. They offer the same thing in the studio. In fact, I wanted to purchase the entire digital album and the cost was $80 (on sale). I asked if they were going to apply the original $29.99 I spent and they said no, that the $80 was additional. I pointed out that their site didn't state that and the girl started arguing with me. With the little ones in tow, we decided to just eat the cost and buy digital album.

The photos themselves... Well, we THOUGHT they looked decent in the store. When we received the downloaded images, we realized that the brown backdrop they used had a horizontal crease toward the bottom (and we had a bunch of sitting pics with both the family and the kids) that looks awful! The images are pretty much ruined at this point. Next stop is calling their portraits customer service number. NEVER AGAIN will we consider using J.C. Penney's for photos.
