Can't find a phone number for the Portrait dept at my local JCP

The JCP Portrait Studio at First and Main, Colorado Springs is hiding it's phone number. I need to call to find out their crazy hours of operation so I don't arrive during their lunch hour AGAIN! Your requirement for a minimum of 100 words is stupid. It punishes people who can aciculate the issue distinctly. So now you are wasting my time attempting to reach your arbitrary minimum. How frustrating. This word minimum must work for you, but it certainly does not work for the consumer you claim to be trying to help. We went to pick up photos that was already paid for. Upon recieving them, lady behind counter named , kia.

Attempted to sell me more prints already printed. When i declined and asked her to properly dispose those sensitive family photos, she caught an attitude with me and was belligerent. She was yelling at me and told me that those photos were lifetouch property.

When i brought up with a concern in regarding to they didnt have my permission to produce more physical photos, she pretty much told me to screw myself. I filed a complaint with their corporation and was told district manager would contact me but never did.

Please stay away from jc penny portrait as they dont care about ur privacy.

Jcpenney Portraits - Poor customer service

Amanda needs to handle upset customers more professional. We waited over an hour to take our photos and she blames it on small children needing more time. She gave me facial expression of sarcasm and engage the family to agree with her.

I'm sorry but this is not cool that you are photographing an employee without their knowledge. It's *** Fine they didn't help you out.

Call corporate. They can help. But to do what you are doing is disrespectful. Imagine if someone does this to YOU.

Impl pretty sure you would flip out. Be considerate of others. Call customer service if you are not satisfied with service. Be aware that at a portrait studio where hundreds of families with different ages go through you are bound to get families with grumpy kids.

If you have kids you would understand. They are complex.

It would be easy to write off rowdy or uncooperative kids as a product of their parents but many factors can come into play.Bottom line don't do this to an employee. It could very easily have been you

I've already talked to customer service. They said they would remedy it by sending me a $50 credit. I still haven't received it. my session was to start at 10 they didn't start until 10: 30 but didn't change backgrounds they couldn't enter coupon code I received three receipts by email because they incorrectly priced a package the staff was rude

Went for family pictures. Long delay regardless of scheduled appointment made months in advance. Did not have props for the theme for our shoot as promised. Rushed job the photographer. Felt like I was overcharged for my photo shoot.

JC Penny Photoshop is the absolute worst. You are better off burning your money and paying a little extra for a professional photographer. On top of being very expensive for 3 digital images (and they state you get to keep the copyright) no kidding. You have to wait around for another 24 hours to get copies of the photos. They don't have any photoshop capabilities like professional photographers do at a very similar price point. Avoid this place at all costs. There is a reason why the JC Penny stores are selling appliances and are empty. They do not have professionals working there and hence overcharge the consumer when and wherever they can. Buyer beware. Hope this review helps.

Worst service ever!

Labor Day 2018 I was scheduled several months in advance for family portraits. I had made these reservations and had extreme difficulty in trying to confirm these issues as no one in the studio was returning my call. I had to call the store manager of the Pleasant Prairie,WI store to get any response. Once I confirmed my reservation, I also confirmed that I had a themed photos as well. They agreed to indulge us. When we arrived on Sunday, September 2, 2018, twenty minutes before our designated time for pictures we noticed that the place was packed. I was quickly brushed away and I barely was able to say anything. Not a great start. We sat for an hour and a half! When we finally got to our photo session, my grandson was tired and not happy so photos were difficult. Our photo session was rushed, They were not prepared at all for our themed photo session, and so many opportunities for photos were missed. And don’t get me started on the pricing! I felt like I was overcharged for a service that I didn’t even ask for! She started doing collages and things with my photos, something that I didn’t ask her to do and then suddenly she says “Oh, by the way, what I’m doing is going to cost an extra $20.” I was like, “ REALLY!? WOW!” So at this point I was so upset. See, this wasn’t supposed to be just some run-of-the-mill photos. These were my Christmas gift from my family. We haven’t had photos together in SEVEN YEARS. The planning and organizing that went into making sure everyone was together and trust me... it’s HARD, but to have it spoiled by JCP makes me sad. I really thought better of JCP.

I have been here several occasions because it is convenient timing and close to home . The service is terrible . The photographers do not even take the time to help you fix urself or at least tell you to fix your hair . They are just taking the pictures and hope they come out okay . This is the last time I use their service . The staff does not care about their quality of work . I don’t understand how they call them self’s photographers . They don’t even know how to do that . This JC penny in Karyn Texas on I-10 and 99 is the worst .Take your money somewhere else that is worth it ! I was not satisfied by my session at all and I feel the money I paid was not worth it.

Double charged and not corrected

We went into JCPenney's Portraits on Thursday July 12th for my younger sister's senior photos. We had a noon appointment and didn't get in til 12:30. I checked the bank account on the 15th to make sure the money came out. They DOUBLE charged me. Then, I printed out my statement and brought it in, but since JCPenney's didn't have two reciepts they didn't make it right. I was charged 139.39 TWICE for only one session of photos. On top of that, the charges were on two different days, one was a debit and one was a signed purchase. Worst experience EVER. I had to file FRAUD charges with my bank because of this. Absolutly ridiculous.

Attempting to repurchase photos

So about a year or so ago I lost my daughter’s baby photos in a fire. I have called several times attempting to repurchase. I spoke with CS, the First Lady tried to give me the run around, however she was able to pull up my album from August of 2011, however told me she did not see any photos...then proceeded to tell me to get a duplicate from a family member but I couldn’t take them anywhere to duplicate the photo myself because it’s property of JC Penny...I hung up and called back, this time around I was connected with a girl that didn’t seem to know what she was doing at all and told me she did not see my album at all!!! All I want is to purchase my photos it’s not that hard! There’s no way in *** they’re unable to do so with all the technology we have. If that’s the case, the website is extremely misleading, as it states that old albums are able to be deactivated. However, no one seems to care to at least to attempt to do so. I’m willing to frickin pay!!! WTF! I need a supervisor or something to help resolve my issue. I just want my pictures!!!!

Horrible service

I went in yesterday (7/10/18) for my daughters 2nd bday pics. I had my appointment at 1pm.

Wasn’t seen till 2:05pm by then my daughter was getting restless and hungry. Natalie finished taking pics around 2:30pm. She said if we wanted to go get something to eat before showing us the pics I told her to let me see how my daughter was she was ok so I figured might as well see the pics and get it done with. I turn around and she is gone.

Everything is off. So I asked someone from jcp that I see if they knew where she went. Nice lady goes and finds out comes out to tell me that she normally goes to break from 2-3pm. Told her how if she started taking my daughters pics at 2:05.

Nice lady seems shocked and apologetic (not her fault). She goes and gets me the manager. Very nice man Alvaro. He says that they aren’t seperate from jcp so they dont have their schedule.

Told him the situation. He said I was welcome to come the next day because he saw that my daughter was restless. Told me that my coupon which expired that day would still be accepted. Told him thank you.

Come back today 7/11/18 spoke to Amanda she told me that manager is off on vacation so I couldn’t make the complaint at that moment. She shows me my daughters and they aren’t even that good. Some because by then she was restless and others because the photographer wasn’t really putting effort. I’m guessing she was in a hurry to go on break.

She only took 12 pics and they want to charge almost $150 for 12 pics.

Very disappointed in the service and quality. I’ve always been to picture people but decided to give jcp portraits a try since picture people is closed do to renovations.

Bad quality of pictures

Jcpenney portrait studio only take 18 photos and sell to you 18 photos. They don't make sure that the clients are happy. So expensive but horribles pictures.

It started off with us coming to get our pictures taken with a appointment. We were not approached for our appointment until 45 minutes to a HR past are time schedule. Then we were rushed through the appointment. Then we were over charged for are pictures. Then come to pick up are pictures been here for close to a HR. To figure out what to do about are over charge and pick up are rushed pictures. Absolutely no reason for this where is the coustomer service ..
