Jcpenney Portraits - Never again
We went to the JCPenney at the bay plaza mall. Mainly to take pictures of my 6 month old and update our family picture.
I litterally left there in tears. As soon as we walked into the studio they started with a bunch of poses with the whole family. The baby was already tired and scared. I was trying to be cooperative but our session was almost over I told them I mainly came for the baby.
They never ask me any questions (ie what background I wanted to start with, or what was important to me). I tried to calm the baby and they told I had to hurry. They rushed a few more photos. They stuffed the baby in a basket which covered the outfit that I had worked so hard to find and we couldnโt get a single photo of her smiling.
She had had enough. This baby is all smiles all day and they should know that babyโs are temperamental and they should be photographed first. I came out with a bunch of rushed family pictures that I didnโt want in the first place and none of the baby. We worked so hard to make sure every detail was perfect and to not have the photos reflect that was the worst expireince ever.
I recommend to just go to a small Mom and pop photo place for photos were they will be attentive to your wants. These people are just trying to meet a quota.
Reason of review: Bad quality.

Buy a reasonably-priced digital camera and take all the photos you want. You can either print them from your computer via your own printer or have them developed by any number of photo services, either in town or online at a number of online photo services. No sense paying for expensive photos when you can do so cheaper yourself and take the pictures YOU want and delete the bad ones, etc.
